FAQ: Why do I get an error when I run the Configuration Wizard application to make a configuration file?

The reason for the error is because the configuration wizard is not able to save its application settings. This is an incompatibility bug with Windows 7. The work-around is to run the Configuration Wizard as administrator. Refer to the screenshot, below.
